Save Bigger and More with the FRN Program – and a Sweepstakes too!

Fuel Rewards Network - Save Bigger and MoreFor most families, saving money is always a priority. Unfortunately, saving money isn’t easy because as children grow bigger and more children are born, families’ needs grow “bigger and more” too.

Luckily, I recently discovered a way for families to put their need for “bigger and more” to work for them – the Fuel Rewards Network™, or the FRN™ program. By using the FRN™ program you can pay less for fuel at participating Shell stations by earning rewards on all of the things you’re already buying.

Best of all, when you purchase “bigger and more” of these everyday things you’ll save bigger and more on fuel! Which you’re probably buying more of for the bigger vehicle you bought as your family grew bigger and more… Are you seeing a pattern here?

What is the FRN™ program?

The FRN™ program is a way for families to earn rewards by purchasing the things they already use, like food, clothing and household goods. Then the rewards are redeemed for fuel savings at participating Shell stations. Unlike other customer loyalty programs, the FRN™ program lets you combine multiple offers for bigger rewards and more savings at the pump.

How does the FRN™ work?

1. Sign up for the FRN™ program. It’s super easy to sign up; all you need is a free Fuel Rewards Network Card which you can pick up at any participating Shell station. Or request one at fuelrewards.com like I did; it takes just a few minutes, unless you mistype your password like I did. Twice.

If you have an iPhone or Android you can download the FRN Mobile App to sign up and activate your FRN Card. You can also use the App to check your rewards balance, find nearby savings and more.

2. Activate your FRN Card online. Just follow these easy steps:

  • Go to fuelrewards.com and click “Sign Up” to activate your FRN Card.
  • Select “Fuel Rewards Network” for your card.
  • Enter your card number and PIN.
  • Follow the steps to complete online enrollment.

3. Start earning Fuel Rewards® savings! This is the easiest step of all because you continue to make the same purchases you already do. There are several ways to shop:

  • Shop Online: Access nearly 700 brand name online merchants offering at least 5¢/gal for every $50 you spend. Some may offer 2x, 5x, 10x rewards or more to multiply your savings. Bigger and more!
  • Dine Out: Link a payment card to the dining program and earn 10¢/gal for every $50 you spend at 10,000+ participating restaurants nationwide.
  • Buy Groceries: Link your local participating grocery store’s rewards card to your FRN Account and earn rewards on your grocery store purchases.
  • Get eCoupons: Select eCoupons at fuelrewards.com and earn Fuel Rewards® savings when the eCoupons items are subsequently purchased at participating grocery and drug stores.
  • Shop at Shell: Purchase specially marked products inside the convenience store as well as car washes or auto services at participating Shell stations to earn Fuel Rewards savings through the Shell® Fuel Rewards® program.

(All of the above is according to fuelrewards.com on 5/6/13.)
