Trees and the Environment: Why Our Life Depends On Them

Today I’ve got an infographic from Eamon Fennelly about the importance of trees. Thanks Eamon!

Trees ask so little and give so much but sometimes we do not appreciate them enough. It really is amazing that an average size tree keeps a family of four breathing for one whole year!

Of course, we do use trees for some important products such as medicine, toothpaste, and vitamins, but as trees are renewable – we can keep planting them as we go.

In urban areas, trees are particularly beneficial. Anyone who lives in a big city will be aware of the pollution and often low quality of air we breathe in. Careful placement of trees in urban areas can help to alleviate this problem.

Check out this infographic from Capital Garden Services for more information on the importance of trees to our lives.

  3. I definitely agree that the placement of trees in urban areas can help in improving the air quality in those places. We have a lot of trees in our backyard and I feel like the air we breathe every day is always fresh. Having a lot of health benefits is also the main reason why everyone who is lucky enough to have their own plants should take residential tree care seriously.
