Remember when I said that one of my New Year Resolutions was to get more sleep? Well, I’m still not doing great at it, even though I know how important sleep is.
Most Americans – children and adults – are consistently living in a sleep deprived state. Not only does this cause all kinds of health problems, symptoms of chronic sleep deprivation can even result in a misdiagnosed of ADHD, meaning that some children are medicated when all they need is more sleep!
I recently came across this article about the health benefits of sleep and after reading it I’m more motivated than ever to get more sleep.
